About me and my journey
Let's go back to the point in time when I was sitting at the office of an Austrian Bank and doing some stuff I was told to do (I was Risk Manager in the field of Leveraged Finance, so I analyzed companies most of the time and decided wether or not the bank should grant a loan or invest in it or not.And yes ... it was a job ... most people would even consider it a good job ... it paid my bills, I had 5 weeks of paid holidays, I was able to put aside some money every month and so forth ... not too bad, one would say. But at some point I asked myself: What the hell am I doing here? Is this everything? Sitting on a table reading and analyzing Financial Statements of companies I had ZERO interest in?
So I decided to talk about that to my boss (who actually was and is a good guy). He recommended me a book. The 4-hour-Workweek written by Tim Ferriss. Wow! Amazing. There are people around the world doing all kind of stuff and earn much more money than I do or who are working 10% of the time or even less than I do? Cool! That's what I want to do as well.
Today I would say this was the birth hour of my new journey. I wanted to earn at least as much money as I did at my banking job with as little as 10% of the time I spent at work.
I want to skip the next years and summarize them in one or two sentences: I worked about 10x the time and earned 1/10. And I was wondering why? Why? By that time I already knew many people who did that successfully - and I did not do much differently. So what was it? Why were others successful but not me?

Today I know that my mission or purpose is to contribute to a fairer distribution of wealth on this planet.
